LinkedIn is no longer videshi: launches in Hindi

LinkedIn, which is considered India's key growth market, on Thursday accomplished a new milestone with the launch of Hindi, the first Indian local language on the learned system.

This step would provide tremendous access to professional and networking opportunities to support over 600 million Hindi speakers worldwide. With 82 million members, India is the second-largest market for LinkedIn.

LinkedIn India Country Manager Ashutosh Gupta commented on the launch, saying, 'We will continue to evaluate other regional languages as we strive to create equitable economic opportunities for every member of the workforce, and to help diverse professional communities come together on LinkedIn.'

LinkedIn's goal with this launch is to break down language barriers, giving Hindi speakers in India and around the world greater access to professional and networking opportunities, according to a statement.

How will it help Hindi users?

Members will be able to view their feed, profile, jobs, messaging, and create content in Hindi on the desktop as well as on their Android and iOS phones. The next step will be for LinkedIn to work on expanding the range of job opportunities available for Hindi-speaking professionals across industries, including more banking and government jobs, according to the statement.

To see the LinkedIn mobile application in Hindi, smartphone users must select Hindi as their chosen device language in phone settings. The LinkedIn experience will be accessible in Hindi for members who already use it as their preferred language on their smartphones.

How to switch to the Hindi language on LinkedIn?

It is crucial to know How to use LinkedIn and create your profile, in the Hindi language. Here are a few things presented that have to be kept in the member's mind.

To switch to Hindi, simply go to the phone's "Settings" menu and select Hindi as the preferred device language. The LinkedIn app will be readily accessible in Hindi for users who already have Hindi as their default device language. For desktop users, go to the LinkedIn homepage and click the "Me" button. Then, go to "Settings and Privacy">"Account Preferences">"Site Preferences." After that, click the "Change" button next to the "Language" section and select "Hindi" from the drop-down file.

Users who have set Hindi as their default language can view the initial post in Hindi by tapping "See Translation" on posts in their home feed. opportunities. New LinkedIn members can join LinkedIn in Hindi by going to LinkedIn.com and creating a new account."

Members who already have English profiles on LinkedIn will be able to add a Hindi account as well. Adding a second language profile, on the other side, is exclusively available on the Desktop.

Users who are unfamiliar with the system can create a second language profile by clicking the "Me" icon at the top of the home page and then selecting "View Profile." Finally, select "Add profile in another language" from the drop-down menu.

As per a recent study by Apna.co, a regional jobs and professional networking company, more than 57 percent of its account holders prefer to look for job opportunities and build professional communities in a local language. After English, Hindi is the most widely spoken language in the country, followed by Kannada and Tamil.
